Non-University of Illinois Service
MTD is operating its non-University of Illinois Service until further notice. The reductions are the same as those for Fall and Winter Break, and are focused on campus:
2 Red: Express trips (designated with the L and U footnotes) do not operate Monday through Friday.
12 Teal: 20-minute frequencies during Weekday Daytime. Trips on those schedules with the “U” footnote will not operate.
13 Sliver: 20-minute frequencies during Weekday Daytime. Trips on those schedules with the “U” footnote will not operate.
22/220 Illini: 30-minute frequencies and abbreviated routing during all day types.
130 Silver Limited: Abbreviated routing during Weekday Evenings and throughout the Weekend at 20-minute frequencies. It’s important to review the maps for the 130 Silver Limited because the route is abbreviated from the regular Silver route.
335 SafeRides: 335 SafeRides will operate reduced hours - beginning at 7:00 pm, and taking final trip requests at 12:00 am. MTD will operate two SafeRides vehicles to promote social distancing. Users can download the MTD Connect app for free in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, and request a SafeRide through the app or by phone by calling 217.265.RIDE (7433).
Late Night: No late night (after midnight) service on the 50 Green, 100 Yellow, 120 Teal, 130 Silver Limited, and 220 Illini Limited.
Sunday Service: No Sunday evening or late night service. This affects the 50 Green, 100 Yellow, 120 Teal, 130 Silver Limited, and 220 Illini Limited.
School Trips: Will not run while Urbana District 116 and Champaign Unit 4 are closed.
