The 280 tranSPORT service is available to encourage alternative transportation to and from all Illini Football home games in order to alleviate traffic and parking congestion. This service is open to all members of the public.

The 280 tranSPORT Football service begins 2 hours before the start time of every home football game. The last trips depart for the stadium 15 minutes after the game begins. Passengers may return any time during the game. Return trips depart from the location at which passengers were dropped off. The last return trips depart from the stadium 30 minutes after the end of the game. The cost is $2.00 round trip, payable when boarding. Exact cash fare is preferred. Fare is not required if passengers are riding with a University of Illinois iCard, or an MTD pass.
