West Connect is a van service that operates within a designated service boundary (shown in map) not served by fixed routes. West Connect provides curb-to-curb service that connects outlying areas to fixed route service.

Request a trip in the MTD Connect (by Via) app or by phone at 217.384.8188. Please note, the former app, (MTD Connect by Routematch) is no longer functional; users should download the new app (MTD Connect powered by Via).

Operates Monday - Friday: 6:40 AM - 6:30 PM

Requesting Service

Requests will be taken until 6:00P for trips to be completed by 6:30P. When you call, provide your contact information, pickup location, and destination. If your trip is within the West Connect boundaries or at the Round Barn Road or Stephens Family YMCA transfer locations, the Dispatcher will enter the trip into the system, and will give you the details of the trip. As a courtesy to other West Connect passengers, please be at the scheduled location when the Operator arrives. Upon arriving at a pick-up location, the West Connect Operator will only wait two minutes for passengers to board before continuing to the next scheduled pick-up/drop-off location.
