Illinois Terminal East Parking Lot Construction
Big changes are happening near MTD’s Illinois Terminal! Construction in our east parking lot has been underway since Thursday, November 21, but we are pleased to report that as progress is being made, the sidewalk on the south side of Chester St. has been reopened.
Pedestrians crossing under the Chester St. viaduct may resume using the pedestrian pathway on the south side of the street. Because Chester St. is still closed to vehicular traffic, vehicles must continue to enter and exit the parking lot via Water St.
