Illinois Terminal East Parking Lot Construction
Big changes are happening near MTD’s Illinois Terminal! Construction in our east parking lot will start Thursday, November 21. Because of this, the sidewalk on the south side of Chester St. will be closed.
Pedestrians crossing under the Chester St. viaduct will need to cross on the north side; this includes anyone traveling to and from Illinois Terminal and the east parking lot. Vehicles must enter and exit the lot via Water St.
