CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Due to the loss of the grass lot south of Huff Hall for the new Siebel Center for Design at Illinois, there will be changes to the volleyball match day parking operations during the 2018 season and beyond. Despite this loss of parking, there are various lots within a 10-minute walk of Huff Hall, as well as metered spaces surrounding the facility.

Illinois Athletics and the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District (MTD) are also pleased to announce a new park & ride service to help alleviate parking congestion at Huff Hall this fall. The free 280 tranSPORT Volleyball service will launch on Saturday (August 18) for the Orange & Blue Scrimmage and will shuttle fans from the Bielfeldt Administration Building to Huff Hall. More information is available HERE.

MTD’s Managing Director, Karl Gnadt, had this to say about adding Volleyball service to the 280 tranSPORT, “One of our most popular routes has long been the tranSPORT on football game days. We’re excited to expand our partnership with the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics to include the nationally-ranked volleyball team. tranSPORT has always received rave reviews from riders, and expanding its reach to Volleyball is a natural way to help Illinois out with its parking limits at Huff Hall.”

Please take the time to read all of the parking options outlined below before arriving on match day.

» All university parking lots require a permit on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT and is free after 5 p.m. and on weekends.
