Amtrak has scheduled track work beginning February 12 and continuing through April 17, 2025. The work will affect Trains 58 & 59 for an extended period of time. The updated schedule information is as follows:

• Train 58 - 2/14 to 3/15/2025 arrival time 4:10 AM (Amtrak counter hours 3:30 AM - 11:15 AM)
• Train 59 - 2/12 to 3/13/2025 arrival time 8:34 PM (Amtrak counter hours 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM)
• Train 58 - 3/16 to 4/17/2025 arrival time 7:10 AM (Amtrak counter hours 5:30 AM - 12:30 PM)
• Train 59 - 3/14 to 4/15/2025 arrival time 11:34 PM (Amtrak counter hours 4:00 PM - Train Arrival)

During this time, MTD's Illinois Terminal will adjust operating hours to accommodate Amtrak's service schedule. From February 14 through March 15, Illinois Terminal will open at 3:30 am. From March 14 to April 15, closing hours may be extended dependent upon the arrival of the final train.
