ATTENTION PASSENGERS: In the summer of 2021, MTD was notified by the Urbana Public Works Department that there were new weight limit restrictions that prevented buses from traveling on Washington between Scottswood and MacArthur. THESE RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED.

Beginning Tuesday, January 2, MTD’s 5E/W Green and 70 E/W Grey Evening, Saturday, and Sunday routes will resume their regular routing.

The 5E/W Green operates in a clockwise direction before Noon, and a counter-clockwise direction after Noon, and will resume operating along the paths listed below. Passengers should resume boarding at bus stops on the east side of MacArthur and Brady. Along Scottswood, passengers should board at designated bus stops only. Please be sure to signal your Operator!

The 70 E/W Grey Evening, Saturday, and Sunday routes will resume serving stops at Washington & MacArthur, MacArthur & California, and High & Brady.

5W Green (AM) Regular Routing: Brady to High to MacArthur to Washington to Scottswood to Illinois to Dodson to Washington.

5E Green (PM) Regular Routing: Washington to Dodson to Illinois to Scottswood to Washington to MacArthur to High to Brady to Main.

70E Grey Regular Routing: Washington to MacArthur to High to Brady to Main.

70W Grey Regular Routing: Main to Brady to High to MacArthur to Washington.
