No Evening Service on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve | No Service Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
MTD would like to wish all of our passengers a very Happy Holiday Season, as we are all looking forward to spending time with our friends and family this season. We remind passengers that MTD does not provide Evening service or SafeRides on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24, or New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31. Service will generally end in the 7PM hour.
MTD services do not operate on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, or on New Year’s Day, Thursday, January 1. Illinois Terminal will remain open for regional arrivals and departures of Amtrak and intercity busing, but MTD routes will not be in operation, and our Customer Service desk will be closed. Regular MTD service will resume early morning on December 26 and January 2.
