Over the years, MTD has developed quality relationships with both Champaign Unit 4 and Urbana School District 116 administrators and teachers, and we are proud to provide public transportation services for many of Champaign-Urbana’s middle and high school students. Unit 4 and District 116 provide eligible students who live more than one and one-half miles from their school with a school I.D. that doubles as an MTD bus pass (thanks to an added mark or sticker). These passes allow students to ride fare-free to and from school only.
