The Board Chair facilitated the Public Hearing for MTD's Budget & Appropriation Ordinance for FY2025. Also at this meeting, Trustees considered the adoption of Ordinance 2024-1 - Budget & Appropriation Ordinance for FY2025, an update to the Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP), and Governmental Accounting Standards Board: GASB 87 Lease & GASB 96 Subscription – Based Information Technology Arrangements Policy.

On June 10, 2022 the Illinois General Assembly enacted Public Act 102-1088, also known as the “Decennial Committees on Local Government Efficiency Act.” The act requires each governmental unit, except municipalities and counties, to form a committee to study local efficiencies and increase accountability and report recommendations to their respective County Board. The Board of Trustees have established a committee for the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District, in accordance to the Act.
The Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District (MTD) Decennial Committee on Local Governance met on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Committee members considered the approval of the April 24, 2024 meeting minutes and the Decennial Committee final report.

Also at this meeting, the Trustees considered the Developmental Services Center (DSC) Contract, the C-CARTS Service to Illinois Center for Transportation, and the update to the Digital Accessibility Policy.

The Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District (MTD) Board of Trustees met on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. At this meeting, there was a presentation on the District's management system, MTD2071. Also at this meeting, the Trustees considered the Willard Minimum Revenue Guarantee Contribution, the Champaign Unit 4 Transportation Agreement, the Urbana School District 116 Transportation Agreement, Resolution 2024-1 Low or No Emission Grant and Bus and Bus Facilities Grant, the Zero Emission Transition Plan, and Resolution 2024-2 Downstate Operating Assistance Program (DOAP) Grant.

At this meeting, there was a presentation on the Willard Airport Minimum Revenue Guarantee Request by Carly McCrory, Executive Director of the Economic Development Corporation and Chair of the Airport Advisory Board, Tim Bannon, Executive Director of the Willard Airport, and Jack Penning, Managing Partner of Volaire Aviation. In addition, the Trustees considered the MTD2071 Quality and Environmental Policy.
